Nylva is a personal organizational tool for tracking skincare products. The people who built it are not doctors, dermatologists, pharmacists, estheticians, cosmetic chemists, or medical professionals of any kind. No one at Massive Technologies Inc. is qualified to give you medical or dermatological advice, and nothing in this app is intended as such.
Specifically: the ingredient conflict flags, Period-After-Opening (PAO) expiry estimates, "avoid/caution/check" severity labels, and all explanatory text within the app are general-purpose reference information. They are drawn from publicly available cosmetic-chemistry and formulation guidance, not from clinical evaluation. They are approximations that cannot account for your individual skin, health conditions, sensitivities, allergies, medications, or any specific product's actual formulation.
Do not rely on Nylva to make decisions about your skin health. Consult your own doctor or board-certified dermatologist before starting, stopping, or combining any skincare products — especially those containing active ingredients like retinoids, acids, benzoyl peroxide, or prescription treatments.
By using Nylva, you acknowledge and agree that you use all information within the app entirely at your own risk, and that Massive Technologies Inc. bears no responsibility for any skin reaction, irritation, injury, or adverse outcome that may result from your use of or reliance on the app's guidance.
By creating an account or using Nylva (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms are between you and Massive Technologies Inc. ("we," "us," "our"), a company based in Southwest Florida, USA.
Nylva is a web-based tool that helps you catalog your skincare products, track when they were opened, build morning and evening routines, flag common ingredient interactions, maintain a wishlist, and keep progress photos. It is an organizational aid — a digital shelf list.
Nylva is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, a treatment planner, a pharmaceutical reference, a dermatological service, or a substitute for professional care. The medical disclaimer above is an essential part of these Terms, not a formality.
You need an account to use Nylva. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide a valid email address. One account per person — do not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
Nylva offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Plus and Pro). Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. After cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier's limits, but your data is not deleted. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their account.
You may use Nylva for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose: tracking your own skincare products and routines. You may not:
You own the content you put into Nylva (product names, notes, photos). We do not claim ownership of your data. We use it solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing Info@nylva.app.
The ingredient conflict database and PAO-based expiry calculations within Nylva are provided "as is" for informational and organizational purposes only. We make no warranty that this data is complete, accurate, current, or appropriate for your circumstances. The "source" fields on conflict entries reference general guidance categories, not specific clinical studies or peer-reviewed sources.
Skincare science evolves. Ingredients interact differently across formulations, concentrations, skin types, and individual health profiles. An "avoid" label in Nylva does not mean two ingredients can never be used together under any circumstances — it means they are commonly flagged as worth separating in a general-purpose layering context. A "check" label does not mean they are safe. Always verify with a qualified professional.
Product photos and progress photos you upload are stored privately and accessible only to you through your authenticated session. We do not analyze, scan, or share the content of your photos. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
We aim to keep Nylva available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and an opportunity to export your data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Massive Technologies Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to any skin reaction, irritation, injury, or adverse health outcome resulting from reliance on the app's ingredient, expiry, or routine guidance.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Massive Technologies Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on the app's informational content for health or skincare decisions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Lee County, Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
